Dr. Kawish Garg

Dr. Kawish Garg is an adult psychiatrist and sleep physician, who sees patients of adult age group, 18 and onwards. Dr. Garg completed his residency in adult psychiatry from University of North Dakota, Fargo ND and thereafter completed sleep medicine fellowship from Hennepin County medical center/ University of Minnesota. He is board certified in both psychiatry and sleep medicine by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Along with his clinical role as psychiatrist and sleep physician, he has held several different titles including medical director at Keystone behavioral health in Chambersburg PA, President of Central PA Psych society and Board member PA Sleep society. While working at Holy Spirit hospital in Camp Hill PA, he was also involved in residents and medical students teaching and was appointed as Assistant professor of psychiatry at Geisinger Commonwealth school of medicine. He also served as medical director for Holy Spirit hospital sleep lab services. He is fellow of American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Barbara Sumbatian

Dr. Barbara Sumbatian is a Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, who sees patients aged 5 and onwards. She provides evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment (including psychotherapy ) to children, adolescent and adults She completed her Residency in Adult Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at PennState Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is Board Certified in both, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry.

Dr. Sumbatian has over 35 years of experience providing services for children, adolescents and adults across multiple clinical settings, such as, inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization, and outpatient programs. She also provided consultation-liaison services and school consultations (Carlisle School district) In addition to her clinical experience she served as Chief of the Psychiatry Department at Geisinger Holy Spirit Hospital from 2013 to 2020. She has taught medical students, physician assistants, advanced nurse practitioners and provided supervision to clinical therapists in the department.

Krista Erdman PMHNP

Krista Erdman is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, who sees patients 18 and onwards. She provides evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders in adults. Krista completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at Bloomsburg University and worked as a registered nurse at Penn State Holy Spirit’s inpatient psychiatric unit. Krista also worked as a clinical instructor, teaching nursing students during their psychiatric clinical rotations. Krista completed her Master’s of Science in Nursing at Wilkes University.

Dr. Courtney Baker

Dr. Courtney Baker, D.O. lives in the Pittsburgh area. She grew up in western PA. She attended Penn State University and then medical school at Des Moines University. While in medical school she got involved in a psychiatry club which piqued her interest in psychiatry. On rotations Dr. Baker really enjoyed child and adolescent psychiatry, which solidified her career choice. Dr. Baker did her general psychiatry training at UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine and her fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical School. After that she worked in community mental health at Holy Spirit Hospital for 9 years. Outside work she enjoys spending time with family, collecting house plants, interior designing, and her Italian Greyhound Charlotte. She also enjoys volunteering for the Physician Support Line and Hazel Jane’s Italian Greyhound Rescue. In Dr. Baker’s free time, she also likes to visit Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water. Dr. Baker, was an assistant professor of Psychiatry at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and enjoys teaching in all settings.
